On the first day of Navratras, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ਪੰਜਾਬ affairs in-charge Manish Sisodia visited the Kali Mata temple in Patiala to offer prayers, seeking the deity’s blessings for his party’s efforts to eliminate the drug menace in the state.
Sisodia, who recently resumed his role as ਪੰਜਾਬ affairs in-charge after a break due to internal party issues, was accompanied by ਪੰਜਾਬ Health ਮੰਤਰੀ Balbir Singh during his temple visit. He expressed that the nine days of Navratri were not only a festival but also a spiritual journey, offering the strength to overcome challenges. “The blessings of Maa Kali empower us to fight modern-day demons like drug addiction. With her divine guidance, ਪੰਜਾਬ will soon be free from this menace,” Sisodia said.
Sisodia emphasized that the AAP ਸਰਕਾਰ is committed to tackling drug addiction through a vigorous campaign. He also pointed out that divine blessings are crucial to solving deep-rooted problems like addiction.
Additionally, Sisodia shared positive feedback from his recent visits to ਸਰਕਾਰ schools, where he learned that many parents are choosing to move their children from private to ਸਰਕਾਰ schools due to improvements in the education system. “This is nothing short of an educational revolution,” he claimed.
