Rajesh Sakriya, a native of Rajkot, Gujarat, has been identified as the attacker of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

His mother, Bhanu, told the media that Rajesh loves dogs and was angered by the Supreme Court’s recent decision to collect stray canines in Delhi NCR and take them to shelters after Delhi Police contacted his family. According to some reports, Sakaria, 41, attended the public meeting to ask the Chief Minister for assistance following the arrest of a relative. We await Delhi Police’s formal reaction.

“My son adores canines. The Supreme Court’s ruling against stray dogs infuriated him. and shortly thereafter departed for Delhi. We don’t know anything else,” Bhanu, Sakriya’s mother, told reporters.
