Ludhiana: A Fire breaks out in a house. Auto, two scooters, one car, and 29 LEDs burnt; fault found in AC compressor.
Late on Wednesday evening, a house in Ikka Nagar, Ludhiana, caught fire. The incident happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. The fire was so severe that 29 LED TVs stored inside the house, as well as two scooters, a car, and an automobile parked inside, were all destroyed. Although the disaster did not result in any fatalities, millions of dollars’ worth of items were destroyed.
Ikka Nagar resident Harvinder Singh claimed that his neighbor’s home was where the fire began. He has a neighbor who drives a delivery vehicle. According to preliminary findings, the fire began as a result of an issue with the AC compressor and spread throughout the house over time.
The villagers tried to put out the fire on their own.
The fire grew more intense despite the locals’ initial attempts to extinguish it by dumping tank water manually. The fire department crew was then notified.
According to Firefighter Vijay Kumar, the information was received around 11:38 p.m. They arrived with a unit right away, and after working for approximately half an hour, they were able to contain the fire. ‘Fortunately, no one was killed,’ he reported, ‘but cars and household goods were totally destroyed by fire.’
According to the locals, the fire might have spread to the next homes if the fire department had arrived any later.
