He added that in order to honor the martyrdom of the Guru Sahib and educate an increasing number of people about philosophy, life lessons, Bani (holy hymns), and the great sacrifice of the Guru Sahib, the District Administration is hosting a number of religious events in each of the district’s three assembly constituencies.

According to MLA Rupinder Singh Happy, this government initiative is praiseworthy and a significant step towards spreading the message of the Ninth Guru to all of humanity. He underlined that Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom was for the basic rights and dignity of all people, not for any particular faith or group. In order to educate children and young people about the Guru Sahib’s singular sacrifice and provide them with inspiration and guidance, he said, religious programs of this kind are being held in a number of villages within the Bassi Pathana constituency.

The congregation relished the beautiful hymns on this particular occasion.

There were also numerous local dignitaries, the Gramme Panchayat (local Council), B.D.P.O. Gurminder Singh, and other administrative personnel.
