An active criminal with illicit firearms has been apprehended by Kapurthala ਪੁਲਿਸ. Following a tip, the ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ Station squad detained Kamalpreet Singh, also known as Jassa, at the Kanjali Road Y-Point.
Numerous firearms were found in the accused’s backpack during the operation, which was directed by SHO Amandeep Nahar. He was found in possession of a.312 bore ‘desi katta’, six cartridges, an American-made Glock handgun, eighteen ammunition, and two magazines.
In multiple cases, the accused was wanted.
Kamalpreet was wanted in three crimes, according to SHO Nahar. Additionally, he has a number of criminal cases filed against him at several Delhi and Punjabi ਪੁਲਿਸ stations. Together with his colleagues, the accused had established his own gang and was committing crimes throughout the ਸ਼ਹਿਰ.
The judge granted a two-day ਪੁਲਿਸ remand.
