Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut made a strong and controversial statement about the growing drug problem in Himachal Pradesh.
Speaking to reporters in Delhi on Friday she said the situation in Himachal has become very serious because of drugs.
Kangana warned that if strict action is not taken soon, Himachal may end up like some villages in ਪੰਜਾਬ where only women and widows are left due to the drug crisis. She said drugs are coming into Himachal from Pakistan through ਪੰਜਾਬ.
She added that even children are selling their parents’ jewelry to buy drugs. Drug-addicted youths lock themselves in rooms shout loudly, steal and damage furniture, vehicles and homes. She said the situation has become worse than ਮੌਤ.
