Jainika Jain, a student of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, has topped the CBSE Class X exams in Ludhiana with an impressive 99.8% score. The results were declared on Tuesday. Daughter of Rajan Jain, who works in the hosiery sector, and Rajni Jain, a homemaker, Jainika credited her success to her parents, teachers, and consistent self-study.

Jainika, who never took tuition, believes in the power of studying independently. She emphasized, “There is a misconception that one cannot become a topper without tuition. I am a live example — consistency and devotion to learning in school is the key.”

She plans to pursue the commerce stream in the same school and aims high for the future.

Following her were Ashnoor Kaur, Mehreen Bains, and Navdha Kukreja (also from BCM Arya), and Kavish Jindal from DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, all scoring 99.4%, sharing the second position. Dhanik Gupta of DAV Public School and Gursimran Preet Kaur of Guru Nanak International Public School shared the third spot with 99.2%.
