In a confrontation with the Fatehgarh Sahib police, the thug who had threatened Ludhiana Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma with death on social media was slain. In a police encounter, notorious mobster Rupinderjit Singh, also known as Jimmy, was slain by the Fatehgarh Sahib Police.

Along with committing multiple crimes, this criminal and his associates used social media to explicitly threaten Swapan Sharma, the Ludhiana Police Commissioner. The police were looking for the culprit after filing a case against him at the Fatehgarh Sahib police station. The gangster and the police had an encounter during the search, and the police were able to kill the mobster. A case has been filed, and a comprehensive investigation has begun by the police.

In a confrontation, Fatehgarh Sahib police detained a person suspected of robbing a truck. The defendant, Rupinderjeet Singh, was shooting at the police while attempting to flee from their custody. He was shot in the leg by the police as a kind of reprisal.
