Honey Singh’s Concert Approved in Panchkula After Initial Denial

Rapper Honey Singh has received the green light to perform at the Sector 25 rally ground in Panchkula on March 23, following a previous denial from the local administration.

According to sources, the concert organizers will be charged ₹5 lakh per day for venue usage, a significant increase from the previous rate of ₹30,000, now applicable for events attracting over 5,000 attendees. For smaller gatherings, the earlier rate will remain in effect.

The decision to host large-scale concerts at Sector 25 comes after community backlash against previous events held at Sector 34, which included performances by Karan Aujla and Diljit Dosanjh. Local residents raised concerns about noise levels and traffic congestion, prompting the UT administration to limit large gatherings at that venue. Notably, singer AP Dhillon’s concert was also moved to Sector 25 for similar reasons.

To ensure a smooth event on March 23, authorities are expected to implement strict crowd management and traffic control measures.
