HC Rejects Bikram Majithia’s Bail Petition.
Bikram Singh Majithia, prominent leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and former Cabinet Minister of Punjab, has suffered a setback from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The court has rejected Majithia’s bail application, due to which he will have to remain in jail for the time being. Majithia is being held at Nabha Jail at the moment.
Disproportionate Assets Are at Issue in This Case
Majithia now faces more challenges as a result of the High Court’s ruling. According to the information, Bikram Singh Majithia was arrested in a case relating to the creation of Disproportionate Assets. He had requested remedy from the High Court, but the court rejected his request.
