Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has denied a fake social media post that falsely claimed she blamed the Pakistan Army for the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
The viral post, made to look like her Instagram story, accused Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir of responsibility for the attack and urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to target Pakistani civilians.
Hania Aamir responded through her verified Instagram account, saying the post was completely false and misrepresented her views.
“I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated,” she wrote.
She also expressed sympathy for the victims and their families, urging people to show compassion instead of politicising such a tragic event. “Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy, not politicisation,” she added.
