Using ropes, the grandfather escorted his grandson to school; police arrived after being stopped by Amritsar social workers, and they were freed after receiving a signed guarantee.
A man from Punjab links his grandson to a rickshaw.
A guy was observed riding a rickshaw with his grandson, who was bound with ropes and shackles, to school in the Lohgarh neighborhood of Amritsar, Punjab, in a startling scene that has embarrassed humanity. The youngster was unable to see because his eyes were also covered. The state of the infant astounded onlookers. Witnesses reported that the youngster was sobbing uncontrollably and pleading for assistance.
Shivam Mehta, a local social worker, followed the rickshaw right away and called the police. When the police arrived, they released the child from the cords.
The grandfather justified his behavior by claiming that the child had not attended school for three months and would always come up with an excuse when instructed to leave. The local community is incensed over this act.
When the police realized how bad the situation was, they issued the grandfather a severe warning. They helped him see that this shouldn’t occur once more. The cops returned the boy to his grandfather after obtaining a formal guarantee.
