For young people in their tenth grade who are enthusiastic about serving their country and hope to enlist in the Belt Forces, there is some very positive news. The announcement for the Constable GD Recruitment for 2026 has been made public by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
A massive recruitment campaign for 25,487 positions in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including the CRPF, BSF, and CISF, has been announced. This is a fantastic chance for young people who are cognitively and physically fit to land a government job; the online application procedure opened on December 1.

Eligibility Criteria (Who Can Apply?)
If you wish to apply for this recruitment, you must meet the following qualifications:

Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India. They will be required to submit their Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of their state/union territory.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) from any recognized board. This qualification must be fulfilled by January 1, 2026.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be between 18 and 23 years. (The candidate’s date of birth should not be before January 2, 2003, and not after January 1, 2008).
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Candidates will have to go through several stages for selection in SSC GD:

Computer-Based Examination (CBE): The first step will be a written examination. Importantly, this exam will be conducted in Hindi and English, as well as 13 regional languages (such as Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, etc.).

Physical Test (PET/PST): Those who pass the written exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency and Standard Test.

Medical and Document Verification: Finally, there will be a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and document verification.
Salary & Fee

Salary (Pay Scale): Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay-Level 3, ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.

Application Fee: The fee for General and OBC categories is ₹100. However, there is no fee (Free) for female candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen.
