Richie Kepi, 36, the sole son of former minister and prominent Akali leader Mohinder Singh Kepi, had his last rituals (antim ardas) in Jalandhar on Sunday. On September 13, Richie Kepi lost his life in a horrific four-car crash. Since then, his friends and family have been shocked.
The final ceremonies were attended by Sufi singer and former BJP MP Hansraj Hans, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Radha Soami Dera president Gurvinder Singh Dhillon, and a number of top party figures. Political and familial circles are reeling over Richie Kepi’s unexpected passing.
