Fazilka police have an encounter with two shooters. Demanded an extortion of ₹5 crore from a hotel owner; admitted to the hospital after being shot.

Two accused were confronted by police in Fazilka, Punjab, close to Laduka. Both defendants were wounded in the legs and are currently receiving treatment at the government hospital in Fazilka. According to the police, the accused fired bullets outside the hotel and sought ₹5 crore in extortion from a private hotel owner. According to SSP Gurmeet Singh of Fazilka, gunfire was heard outside a private hotel on the evening of August 28. The cops opened an investigation and filed a case. Another shooting occurred outside the hotel on August 31. The police then encounteredthe scene. Fallen bike and recovered weapons.

According to the SSP, police near Laduka signalled the accused to stop when they returned to commit this act. Then they opened fire on the officers. Both of the accused were shot in the legs during the police’s retaliatory firing. The SSP claims that the shooters who were taken into custody are repeat offenders. They also had illegal weapons found on them. They had extorted ₹5 crore from the proprietor of the private hotel. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation. The authorities are attempting to ascertain the motive of these accused individuals as well as any additional parties involved.
