Father Murdered with a Brick in Jagraon; Argument Occurred at Home; ਪੁਲਿਸ Arrest Accused Son.
On Friday night in Rajgarh ਪਿੰਡ in Ludhiana, a son killed his father by striking him with a brick while intoxicated. Around 12:45 AM, the incident happened. The culprit, Avtar Singh (40), has been taken into custody by the station’s ਪੁਲਿਸ.
The accused will appear in court on Saturday, and a request for remand will be submitted, according to Station Head Officer Gurdip Singh.
The accused, Avtar Singh, was a security guard in Ludhiana and had a drug and alcohol addiction, according to the information. In the home, arguments had become frequent.
When Buta Singh (70), the sick father, attempted to soothe his son, Avtar became furious and repeatedly struck Buta Singh in the head with a brick that was stored inside the home. Buta Singh suffered serious injuries after falling on the ground. After his relatives hurried him to the hospital, the medical staff pronounced him dead.
The ਪਿੰਡ Panchayat reported the incident to the ਪੁਲਿਸ. Soon after, the accused was taken into custody by the ਪੁਲਿਸ in the ਪਿੰਡ. Based on the testimony of the accused’s mother, Malkiat Kaur, a murder case has been filed.
The body has been transferred to Ludhiana Civil Hospital by the ਪੁਲਿਸ for a post-mortem. According to the villagers, Avtar was violent and extremely irate. They called for severe judicial action against the defendants.
