Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal was discharged from a private hospital in Barnala on Thursday. He had been admitted on April 7 after complaining of stomach pain during a Kisan Mahapanchayat.
Jagjit Singh, block president of the Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta-Sidhupur), said that Dallewal’s condition had improved and doctors allowed him to go home. Soon after being discharged, Dallewal left for Amritsar to attend another Kisan Mahapanchayat.
Doctors have advised him to take proper rest in the coming days, the union leader added.
