Two days after PM Modi promised action for the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 ਲੋਕ, RSS ਮੁੱਖ Mohan Bhagwat fully supported a strong response.
At a book launch event, Bhagwat said it is the king’s duty to protect his ਲੋਕ and teaching extremists a lesson is part of dharma. He explained that while non-violence is important, it is also necessary to stop extremists to protect the nation.
Bhagwat gave examples from Hindu mythology, saying Lord Ram destroyed Ravana for the greater good, and Arjun fought the Kauravas. He said if enemies like Pakistan continue wrongdoings, the country must act strongly, as protecting ਲੋਕ is the true meaning of dharma.
He also said ਭਾਰਤ never attacks its neighbours but must defend itself when needed.
