Encounter Between Police and Gangster in Faridkot: Bambiha Gang Member Injured; Firing During Weapon Recovery, Bullet Hits Leg.
Encounter Following an altercation in Faridkot, police officers arrived on the scene.
In Punjab’s Faridkot area, a gangster connected to the Bambiha gang ran afoul of the law in an extortion and fire case. He attempted to flee when the cops were taking him to retrieve his weapon. But in the retaliatory action, he was hurt and apprehended.According to SSP Dr. Pragya Jain, a criminal connected to the group wanted a ransom of one crore rupees from a person in the Kotkapura region in July. On the evening of September 1st, there was gunfire outside his home after the money was not paid. An investigation into this matter has started after a case was filed at the Kotkapura City Police Station.

On September 7, the police detained two Moga suspects based on technological assistance and intelligence gathered throughout the investigation. Among them are Ramjot Singh, also known as Jot, and Sandeep Singh, also known as Lovely.
It was discovered during the criminals’ interrogation that Simma and Jass Baghel were the ones who ordered this operation to be conducted. Malkit Singh, who was transported from Faridkot Jail on a production warrant, supplied the firearm used in the crime.
