Due to a breachIn the Amritsar

In the villages of the Ajnala constituency, flood-like conditions have developed due to a rupture in the Ravi River’s Dhussi Bund, causing inhabitants to leave their houses.

In the Amritsar district’s Ajnala assembly constituency, flooding has resulted from the Dhussi Bund of the Ravi River collapsing. Residents of riverbank villages including Ghonewal, Maasi Nangal, and Bedi Chhanna are in a panic as a result of the water entering their areas. Villagers are being evicted, their doors locked, and their possessions moved to the roofs. Locals claim that saving their lives is their first priority, which is why they are fleeing their houses and means of subsistence in search of safer ground. On the scene, administrative teams are keeping an eye on the situation and working to contain it.
