Drug Racket Running from Kapurthala Jail: Heroin Smuggler and Accomplice Arrested from Bathinda, Were Going to Supply on a Scooter.
A significant step has been taken by Bathinda ਪੁਲਿਸ as part of the “War against Drugs” programme. Rahul was taken into custody by the ਪੁਲਿਸ on Thursday after they found him in possession of 505 grams of heroin on an Activa. Rahul lives in Bathinda’s Paras Ram Nagar.
According to the inquiry, Ishant, also known as Ishu, is the brains behind this drug smuggling and is currently incarcerated at Kapurthala Jail. Ishant is currently incarcerated for narcotics smuggling offences. Rahul, who was detained, is one of Ishant’s accomplices. He operates the smuggling of drugs from within the prison.
ਪੁਲਿਸ will bring Ishant to Bathinda on a production warrant, according to SP ਸ਼ਹਿਰ Narinder Singh. The involvement of any jail department officials or employees in this scheme is also being looked into. Rahul has never been charged with a crime before. Additionally, the authorities are looking into the jail’s narcotics supply network.
