After his visit, PM Modi posted a video to his Instagram account showing him speaking with Punjab flood victims. According to him, one shouldn’t assume that no one is there to ask how they’re doing or to hold their hand during difficult times. They have the support of the central government.

On Tuesday, PM Modi visited Gurdaspur and used a helicopter to conduct an overhead reconnaissance. He then had meetings with 19 farmers whose crops had been harmed by the floods. Additionally, he visited with NDRF and SDRF personnel involved in rescue efforts. At last, he met with the Punjab government’s ministers and officials. Ultimately, he said that Punjab will receive a grant of 1600 crore rupees. He added that everyone would receive all the assistance they might possibly need.
