given up to the Chandigarh Police
On September 25, 2025, the suspects first opened fire in Mohali outside the Hotel Man Chauhan and Ritick Bhardwaj, also known as Billa, and then in Chandigarh. The Chandigarh Operation Cell then claimed to have taken the accused into custody, but in reality, the accused had turned themselves in. Tracing the accused was also carried out by the CIA Kharar team. The CIA Kharar team discovered that the culprit had already turned himself in to the Chandigarh Police when they got close to him.
After purchasing the pistols, the police brought them both to Punjab’s Malerkotla, Pinjore, Kalka, and Kharar. However, the police were unable to retrieve the third pistol when the detention ended and both suspects were brought before the court.
