Ashwani Sharma, the functioning president of the ਪੰਜਾਬ BJP, lost his older brother, Ram Prasad Sharma, at the age of sixty-three. He had been receiving treatment at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) in Chandigarh for the past 15 days after becoming ill some time ago. For the last three days, he had been admitted to the intensive care unit.
Former Power Grid Corporation of ਭਾਰਤ AGM (Assistant General Manager) Ram Prasad Sharma. He shared the same house as his brother, Ashwani Sharma.
On August 29 at 11:00 AM, his last ceremonies will take place at the cremation site close to the Pathankot Civil Hospital.
