Death of Punjabi singer’s mother: She took her last breath at a hospital in Chandigarh; the singer, who was on a Canada tour, has cancelled his show.
Salma Parveen, the mother of well-known Punjabi musician Khan Saab, died in a Chandigarh private hospital. She had been sick for a few days and was being treated by medical professionals.
Singer Khan Saab is currently performing in Canada. His show was cancelled once he learnt of his mother’s passing. He’s going back to Punjab. His mother, Salma Parveen, will be buried when he gets there.
According to family reports, she died while receiving treatment since her condition did not improve despite ongoing care.
