Addressing a “Jan Ashirwad” rally in Barwala on Tuesday in support of the party candidate,
Saini said that Congress has given nothing to Haryana except lies, corruption and bad governance. The public has now understood the deceit of Congress and this time the BJP govt will return with majority, he claimed.
The CM said that corruption thrived during the tenure of Congress govt and injustice was done to farmers and Dalits. “Bhupinder Singh Hooda had stopped the development of Haryana. His govt has insulted farmers, labourers and Dalits. Today, no leader of the Congress is capable of giving answers before the people of Haryana. This election is not just to form the govt but also to decide the direction of Haryana,” he said.
Calling the election manifesto of Congress a bundle of lies, Saini said that Congress won the election in Himachal Pradesh on false promises. “They had promised 300 units of free electricity, 1 lakh jobs and Rs 1,500 per month to women but even after two years, the Congress govt has not fulfilled any of these promises,” chief minister Saini said.
