Collision between Trailer and Pickup in Fazilka: Accident caused by brake failure; both drivers in ਪੁਲਿਸ custody.
A pickup truck struck the rear of a trailer on the Fazilka-Abohar route, causing chaos. Following the crash, both parties got into a fight, and things got worse. The ਪੁਲਿਸ from the Khui Khera ਪੁਲਿਸ station arrived on the site as soon as they received the information, and they quickly got the situation under control. The drivers of both cars were arrested by the ਪੁਲਿਸ and taken to the ਪੁਲਿਸ station.
The straw/stubble was being transported on a tractor-trolley, according to ਪੁਲਿਸ officer Suresh Pal of the Khui Khera ਪੁਲਿਸ station. The trailer driver had to use the brakes to save a stray horse that had come from the Abohar side since another car had unexpectedly emerged in front of it.
Both drivers were brought to the station by the ਪੁਲਿਸ.
Although no fatalities have been reported, the pickup truck sustained significant damage in the collision. According to the ਪੁਲਿਸ officer, the truck driver was judged to be at fault after the preliminary investigation. Both drivers have now been brought to the ਪੁਲਿਸ station, and the SHO of the Khui Khera ਪੁਲਿਸ station will take further action.
