CM Bhagwant Mann Questions Bajwa’s Claim About Bombs in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has strongly questioned Congress leader and Leader of Opposition, Pratap Singh Bajwa, for claiming that 50 bombs had landed in Punjab.

CM Mann asked where Bajwa got this information from. He said that even Punjab’s Intelligence and the central government don’t have such details. Mann asked, “Is Bajwa in touch with terrorists in Pakistan who are informing him directly?”

The CM added that if Bajwa had such serious information, he should have informed the Punjab Police immediately instead of talking about it in a TV interview.

Following this, Punjab Intelligence officials went to Bajwa’s house in Sector 8 to record his statement. Bajwa said he is cooperating with the police but refused to share the source of his information. He challenged the CM to file a case, saying it would only prove the government’s political vendetta against him.

Bajwa also accused the CM of failing to maintain law and order. He said he had sources in both state and central agencies who warned him that he might also be a target.

CM Mann further questioned whether Bajwa was waiting for bombs to explode before revealing the information. He said if Bajwa was lying, he was trying to spread fear among the people. Mann demanded Bajwa reveal his sources, or else action would be taken. He also urged the Congress party to remove Bajwa if he is spreading terror and helping anti-national forces.
