Chief Minister Saini to Present Six-Month Report During PM Modi’s State Visit

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will present his government’s six-month report during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to Haryana on April 14, 2025. The event will be a significant moment for the Chief Minister to highlight the development works undertaken in Haryana in the last six months, with a large audience expected to attend rallies in Yamunanagar and Hisar.

Saini, who was sworn in as Chief Minister for the second time on October 17, 2024, will complete six months in office on April 17, 2025. His report card will focus on the development initiatives and pro-people policies implemented by his government, particularly those benefiting women, farmers, youth, and the poor.

The BJP is gearing up for Modi’s visit, which is being dubbed a “thanksgiving visit” following the party’s historic hat-trick in the October 2024 Haryana Assembly elections. Two major rallies will be held in Yamunanagar and Hisar, with thousands expected to attend from 12 districts in Yamunanagar and 15 districts in Hisar. The April 14 events will coincide with the celebrations marking the Dr. BR Ambedkar anniversary across the country.

During the visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for an 800 MW unit at the Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant (DCRTPP) in Yamunanagar, worth Rs 7,272 crore, and inaugurate the Hisar airport, a step toward enhancing regional air connectivity.

In his address, CM Saini will showcase key achievements, including the Rs 5,000 crore provision for the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ (offering Rs 2,100 to eligible women), the Har Ghar Grihini Yojana (providing 15 lakh families with subsidized gas cylinders), employment for over 25,000 youth, free dialysis facilities for kidney patients, and land ownership rights for those possessing land for over 20 years. Additionally, the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for 24 crops will be highlighted.

Saini also emphasized that the BJP government had fulfilled 18 promises from its ‘sankalp patra’ (election manifesto) within the first 100 days of governance, with work continuing on 10 other promises.

BJP Chief Mohan Lal Badoli stated that the visit would underscore the pro-people policies of the ‘triple-engine government’, aimed at the welfare of various sections of society.
