Chaos at the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Meeting Congress councilors raised slogans of “Stop Exploitation,” Mayor showed award received abroad.
The meeting of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation today, September 30, descended into chaos. Congress councillors spoke out against the suspension of company employees and Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla’s overseas travel.
A furious argument broke out between the two sides as the Mayor and BJP councillors attempted to stop them from making a scene. Mayor Babla gave the Congress councillors a trophy she had won while travelling overseas in order to appease them.
The councillors of Congress then began yelling slogans while displaying signs that said, “Stop the exploitation of corporate employees.” They also brought up the scandal surrounding Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, sweeping Chandigarh. They also called for the reinstatement of the workers who had been suspended in connection with this issue.
