BSF Recovers 8.6 Kg Heroin Near Ferozepur Border

In a major action near the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur, alert BSF soldiers recovered a large amount of heroin early Thursday morning.

According to BSF sources, the troops carried out a careful search in a suspected area and found 15 packets of heroin. The total weight of the heroin was 8.6 kilograms.

The drugs were hidden in an agricultural field near Bhanewala village, close to the border. Each packet was wrapped in yellow tape and had an iron hook and a small light device attached.

BSF is investigating further to find out how the drugs reached the area and who was involved.
