The Border Security Force (BSF) detained three drug smugglers and stopped a significant drug trafficking attempt at the Amritsar border. The three defendants live in the Amritsar villages of Pandori and Dhani Khud. They were found in possession of a sizable packet that contained 3.373 kilogrammes of heroin.
Under dubious circumstances, the arrested suspect was spotted riding a bike in the border area. They were halted and arrested when BSF officers started to suspect their movements.
The defendants admitted to their role in cross-border drug trafficking during initial interrogation. They were found in possession of a cell phone that had dubious international connections on it. Additionally, the trafficking bike was confiscated.
A sizable packet containing 3.373 kilogrammes of heroin was found in the vicinity based on the information the accused provided. A significant cross-border drug trafficking conspiracy was thwarted by the BSF’s diligence.
