The Supreme Court delivered a setback to Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut and Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi BJP MP. Her attempt to have the defamation case against her for her remarks during the farmers’ demonstration dismissed was denied by the court.

Mahinder Kaur had brought a lawsuit against this. The argument put out by Kangana was that she had merely reposted a lawyer’s post.
