Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu advised Punjab Congress chief Raja Warring to stay among the people of Ludhiana who elected him as MP. Bittu reminded Warring about his promise to live in Ludhiana and said people were now putting up “missing MP” posters — something that never happened during Bittu’s time as MP.
Speaking about the Pahalgam terror attack, Bittu asked why Pakistan-backed terrorists attack innocent people instead of fighting Indian forces directly. He said India’s top leaders have promised to take revenge.
On the upcoming Ludhiana (West) by-election, Bittu said BJP had received over 25 candidate applications and was in the process of shortlisting.
He also criticized the AAP government for frequently transferring senior officers. Bittu alleged that if AAP’s Sanjeev Arora wins the by-election, CM Bhagwant Mann could be pushed to the Rajya Sabha and out of Punjab.
