Chairman Manik Mehta Listens to People’s Problems and Ensures Their Resolution
The appearance of Batala city has been transformed developmentally under the leadership of Punjab Working President and Batala MLA Sherry Kalsi, with rapid development works being carried out alongside the resolution of people’s issues.
Chairman Manik Mehta expressed this after listening to the problems of the city residents.
Chairman Manik Mehta stated that various development projects have been carried out in Batala city under the leadership of MLA Sherry Kalsi, and several development works are currently underway.
He mentioned that MLA Sherry Kalsi is installing lights in the city at a cost of crores of rupees, which has brought great relief to shopkeepers and the general public. He added that continuous efforts are being made to further beautify the historical and religious city of Batala, and development work is progressing rapidly.
He further informed that recently, a new Tehsil Complex was inaugurated in Batala under the leadership of MLA Sherry Kalsi, with the aim of providing various government facilities to the people under one roof. The city’s main crossings (Chowks) have been widened and beautified. The city’s library building has been renovated. A School of Eminence has been constructed. Efforts have been made to ease traffic flow within the city, and development works are being undertaken for the welfare of the people.
