Chairman Manik Mehta Listens to ਲੋਕ’s Problems and Ensures Their Resolution
The appearance of Batala ਸ਼ਹਿਰ has been transformed developmentally under the leadership of ਪੰਜਾਬ Working President and Batala MLA Sherry Kalsi, with rapid development works being carried out alongside the resolution of ਲੋਕ’s issues.
Chairman Manik Mehta expressed this after listening to the problems of the ਸ਼ਹਿਰ residents.
Chairman Manik Mehta stated that various development projects have been carried out in Batala ਸ਼ਹਿਰ under the leadership of MLA Sherry Kalsi, and several development works are currently underway.
He mentioned that MLA Sherry Kalsi is installing lights in the ਸ਼ਹਿਰ at a cost of crores of rupees, which has brought great relief to shopkeepers and the general public. He added that continuous efforts are being made to further beautify the historical and religious ਸ਼ਹਿਰ of Batala, and development work is progressing rapidly.
He further informed that recently, a new Tehsil Complex was inaugurated in Batala under the leadership of MLA Sherry Kalsi, with the aim of providing various ਸਰਕਾਰ facilities to the ਲੋਕ under one roof. The ਸ਼ਹਿਰ’s main crossings (Chowks) have been widened and beautified. The ਸ਼ਹਿਰ’s library building has been renovated. A School of Eminence has been constructed. Efforts have been made to ease traffic flow within the ਸ਼ਹਿਰ, and development works are being undertaken for the welfare of the ਲੋਕ.
