Attack on Lecturer of BPED (Bachelor of Physical Education) College in Panchkula: The accused fled after the attack; the victim was taken to the hospital.
Panchkula Bureau: In Sector 1, Panchkula, an unidentified man with a sharp weapon viciously attacked a lecturer at BPED College. Following the attack, the accused left the scene. Police from the Sector 5 police station hurried to the scene after learning of the situation, and the lecturer was taken to the hospital. Based on the injured lecturer’s statement, the authorities are currently looking into the situation.
Neeraj, a resident of Sector 4, Panchkula, was confirmed as the lecturer. In Sector 23, he is the head of a BPED college. According to Neeraj, he and a friend were in Sector 1 sitting in their car when two or three individuals with their faces concealed came up to them. Suddenly, they began using sharp weapons to attack Neeraj. Neeraj’s friend was able to flee during the onslaught. The accused attempted to assault his companion as well, but he managed to get away. The attackers left when they heard the ruckus, and people from a nearby cafe came out.
Neeraj was admitted right away to Sector 6’s Civil Hospital. The accused is being sought by the police. According to the preliminary inquiry, the incident may have been carried out as a result of an old conflict or animosity.
DCP meets with college staff.
The college staff banded together after the event and met with the Panchkula DCP to seek more security for both staff and students. They have received assurances from the police that they will be apprehended shortly and that CCTV material will be analysed to identify the perpetrators.

A special team has been established to look into the attack on lecturer Praveen Dhanda, and the attackers will be taken into custody shortly, according to Panchkula DCP Srishti Gupta. There is now more patrolling throughout the campus and its environs.
