A combined team from the Excise Department and the Badali Ala Singh ਪੁਲਿਸ Station had established a checkpoint near Khera Chowk to examine questionable cars, according to the information obtained. A Swift vehicle with the registration number PB-23-J-0234 was pulled over during the inspection.
After checking the vehicle and questioning the occupants, who were identified as Harmesh Singh, Jagdeep Singh, and Bhupinder Singh, the squad discovered 120 bottles of spirits that were intended for Chandigarh sale.
The three inhabitants of Mandi Gobindgarh were taken into custody, and the Badali Ala Singh ਪੁਲਿਸ Station filed an Excise Act prosecution against them.
