A major incident has come to light from the Dasuya area of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab. Around two dozen armed men attacked a passenger bus filled with travelers. The attackers first stopped the bus, then vandalized it and brutally beat up the driver. When some passengers tried to help the driver, they were also assaulted.
The incident happened late in the evening on the Dasuya-Hajipur road near Badla Morh. The attackers, who came on motorcycles, surrounded the bus in the middle of the road. They smashed the bus windows and began beating the passengers.
Shockingly, a police officer traveling in the bus was also mistreated. The miscreants tore his uniform and misbehaved with him. After the incident a sense of fear and panic has spread in the entire area.
