Amritsar Police’s Big Action: Prostitution Racket Busted in Hotel, 6 Girls and 13 Boys Arrested
Arrested Girls Transported to Court Via Auto-rickshaw—Questions on Security Arrangements.
A prostitution ring was discovered during a late-night police raid on a motel in an area under the control of Amritsar’s B Division Police Station. Thirteen males and six girls were taken into custody by the police during the operation.
All of these people were allegedly involved in prostitution within the hotel rooms, according to the police. When a tip was received, prompt action was taken, according to a police official. When police officers visited the hotel after a special squad was assembled, they discovered other couples in a compromised position.
The police brought all of the detained suspects in this case before the Honorable Court in Amritsar late at night. The fact that the police transported the arrested females to the court in an autorickshaw was a noteworthy element that prompted concerns about the security protocols. The possibility of someone escaping while being conveyed in an autorickshaw is the cause for anxiety.
According to the police, all of the people who have been arrested are still being questioned, and an investigation is being conducted to identify the gang’s main masterminds. It has also been reported that the hotel owner will be questioned to determine whether or not they were aware of these unlawful activities.
