Amitabh Bachchan Pays Emotional Tribute to Indian Army After Operation Sindoor

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has paid a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Army for its bravery during Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

Taking to social media, Bachchan quoted a powerful line from a poem by his father, the late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan:
“Hai chita ki raakh kar me, maangti sindoor duniya”, meaning “There are ashes of the funeral pyre, yet the world demands vermilion.”

He then connected this line to the army’s recent retaliation, saying:
“De diya sindoor — OPERATION SINDOOR!!!” (“I gave you the vermillion!”)

Bachchan ended his tribute with an impassioned salute to the soldiers, reciting from his father’s iconic poem Agneepath:
“Too na thamenga kabhee; too na mudega kabhee; too na jhukega kabhee, kar shapath, kar shapath, kar shapath. Agni Path! Agni Path! Agni Path!”
(“You will never stop, never turn, never bow down — take the oath, the oath, the oath. This is the path of fire!”)

His message struck a chord with many, serving as a reminder of the emotional and symbolic strength behind the army’s sacrifices.
