All Five Bills to be Introduced in Parliament are Anti-Punjab: Pargat Singh: Pargat Says AAP Govt Mocked the Assembly; Comedy on Serious Punjab Issues Should Not Be Tolerated.

“With what face will the Akali Dal ally with the BJP in Punjab?” Pargat asked, making fun of the partnership.

Every day, the BJP attacks Punjab; after seizing BBMB, they are now threatening to seize Chandigarh and damage farmers.

The five pieces of legislation that the Central Government is scheduled to bring in the winter session—the Education Commission Bill, Atomic Energy Bill, Electricity Bill, National Highway Authority Bill, and Chandigarh Bill—have been described as being against Punjab by former Education Minister and MLA Pargat Singh. He claimed that the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are deceiving Punjabi citizens about all five pieces of legislation, particularly the Chandigarh Bill. The Central Government has not withdrawn the Chandigarh Bill, notwithstanding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s claims to the contrary. It is insufficient to merely say anything.

According to Pargat Singh, Chandigarh is and will continue to be the capital of Punjab since Punjab owns the state. According to our law, a state must create its own capital when it breaks away from another state. The original capital, however, is still in the same state. So why does Punjab have a different situation? Is Punjab the only stakeholder? The people of Punjab are being misled by both the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party.

Additionally, he was adamantly against conducting absurd meetings to discuss Punjab’s problems. He stated that it is absolutely unacceptable to host an Assembly session with minors. The real problems facing Punjab should not be mocked by the Aam Aadmi Party. The Aam Aadmi Party has demonstrated that politics is becoming less intelligent by doing this. There is no discussion of actual concerns during Punjab Assembly sessions, which begin with taunting. Not even a chance to speak is provided to the opposition. He declared that the ridiculing of the Assembly by the “AAP” government would not be accepted.

Pargat Singh stated that the ideologies of the two parties are at odds when asked about a potential partnership between the BJP and the Akali Dal before the 2027 Assembly elections. Every day, the BJP attacks Punjab, taking over the BBMB and Chandigarh. How can the Akali Dal, a regional party, join up with the BJP in such a scenario?
