“Ahmedabad Plane Crash—Case Against Boeing-Honeywell Companies in America: Victim’s Family Says—No Action Taken After Knowing the Danger.”
Shortly after takeoff on June 12, a Boeing 787-8 flight from Ahmedabad to London crashed.
“The families of the 4 passengers killed in the Ahmedabad plane crash have now filed a lawsuit in America against Boeing, the aircraft manufacturing company, and Honeywell, the company that makes its parts.”
The families claim that both firms’ incompetence caused the catastrophe, according to a BBC report. The Lanier Law Firm in Texas is the entity that brought this complaint.
According to the report, the disaster was caused by a fault in the aircraft’s fuel switch.
On June 12, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated by Air India was en route from Ahmedabad to Gatwick Airport in London. Shortly after taking flight, it collided with a medical hostel building. There were 270 fatalities; 60 of them were foreigners.

Section “Boeing Did Not Comment”:
“Boeing has not responded to this legal action. It has simply stated that information on this subject is available in the preliminary report from India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
“The BBC reached out to Honeywell as well but got no reply. As of right now, the accident’s final investigative report is anticipated to be published in 2026. When the disaster occurred, there were 229 passengers on board the aircraft.
Honeywell was approached by the BBC as well, but they did not respond. It is now anticipated that the accident’s final inquiry report will be made public in 2026. 19 individuals on the ground and 229 passengers and 12 crew members on board the aircraft perished in this catastrophe.
‘Did you shut off the switch?’ one pilot asked the other, according to the recordings from the cockpit. And the other said, ‘No.’ The report also disclosed that a sensor issue on the aircraft had been resolved prior to the flight.
