Admissions are now being accepted for the Sainik Institute of Management & Technology’s Steno Course 2025–2026 in S.A.S. Nagar.

Admissions for the Punjabi Shorthand Steno Course for the 2025–2026 academic year have begun at the Sainik Institute of Management & Technology in S.A.S. Nagar, which is a school run by the District Defence Services Welfare Office.
The steno training is provided to former service members, their relatives, and youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds at a nominal cost, according to District Defence Services Welfare Officer Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon (Retd.), who provided further details. Candidates that are interested are encouraged to apply. Forms for admission will be available until August 25, 2025. Merit-based admissions will be used. The Punjabi Shorthand course will adhere to the curriculum set forth by the Patiala Language Department.
