AAP MLA Dhaliwal Targets BJP in Amritsar: Says, “Conspiracy to Defame Punjab and Farmers Over Pollution; Sirsa’s Allegations are Baseless.”

Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, a former cabinet minister and current Punjab Aam Aadmi Party MLA, harshly criticised Manjinder Singh Sirsa of the BJP’s remarks in Amritsar’s Ajnala today, accusing him of purposefully attempting to discredit Punjab worldwide.

Dhaliwal claimed that by holding Punjab’s farmers accountable for pollution, BJP officials are engaging in political activity. “I previously told the country’s then-Union Agriculture Minister that I would accept it if you could demonstrate that pollution from Punjab alone reaches Delhi,” he said. In actuality, stubble is also burnt in Haryana.

“It is a BJP conspiracy,” Dhaliwal asserts.
He questioned why Haryana’s pollution doesn’t reach Delhi if it travels from Punjab to Haryana. Dhaliwal claimed that all of this was a prearranged plot to discredit Punjab and its farmers.

The minister claimed that although Punjabi farmers have long supplied the nation with wheat and rice, they are now being held accountable. “We gave to the nation even though our water level has dropped by 300 feet. However, we are currently being disparaged.

The accusations made by Sirsa are unfounded: Dhaliwal
Speaking about Sirsa, Dhaliwal claimed that Manjinder Singh Sirsa lacked comprehension and knowledge. His claims are unfounded. To appease themselves, the BJP makes similar claims. “I don’t really listen to what people like Sirsa have to say,” Dhaliwal stated.

What was said by Manjinder Sirsa?
In a recent news conference, Delhi’s Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa made a significant accusation against the Aam Aadmi Party, saying that Punjabi farmers are purposefully burning stubble.

He claimed that Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has been insulting people nonstop for the past ten years while playing five videos from Tarn Taran, Amritsar, and Bathinda.

“But now, when the filth is being cleaned up in Delhi, they are getting stomach aches (bothered), and stubble is being deliberately set on fire by farmers so that pollution comes from there and people get troubled,” he stated.
