AAP’s Sangrur leader Jasvir Singh Sekhon (also known as Jassi Sekhon) has been appointed as a member of the Punjab Food Commission. This commission works to make sure people receive their right to food under government schemes like ration and nutrition programs. Sekhon met CM Bhagwant Mann and thanked him for the opportunity. AAP says it wants committed leaders working for the welfare of poor and rural communities.
