Today (Thursday), Harmeet Singh Sandhu, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), legally took the oath of office as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) after winning the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election by a wide margin. In a ceremony in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in Chandigarh, Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan gave him the oath.
