The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has responded sharply to the comments of Shiromani Akali Dal Badal’s ਮੁੱਖ spokesperson Arshdeep Singh Kaler regarding cabinet expansion.
AAP ਪੰਜਾਬ leader and senior spokesperson Neel Garg stated that both the “coach and engine” of the party are perfectly fine, suggesting that AAP is not the train of any one family. He emphasised that the engine and coaches of the AAP are elected by the three crore ਲੋਕ of ਪੰਜਾਬ.
Garg highlighted that the AAP ਸਰਕਾਰ has taken decisive action against various mafias in ਪੰਜਾਬ, continuously targeting the gangsters who thrived during the Akali ਸਰਕਾਰ’s tenure. He noted the ਸਰਕਾਰ’s efforts in curbing drug smuggling, providing ਸਰਕਾਰ jobs to thousands of youth, building mohalla clinics for public healthcare, and improving ਸਰਕਾਰ schools for children’s education.
He further asserted that the Akali Dal needs to change its leadership, which has transformed from a party representing ਪੰਜਾਬ and its interests to one dominated by a single family.
