A father and son have been charged with scamming a man and his fiancée of about 30 lakh rupees under the guise of transporting them to the United Kingdom.
The report states that Varinder Singh, a guy, complained to the police at Badali Ala Singh. He said that Prabhjot Singh and his father, Baljit Singh, who own an immigration company in Chandigarh, defrauded him and his fiancée of Rs. 3,065,900 in 2022 on the pretext of moving them to the United Kingdom.
A fraud complaint was filed as a result of the accused’s failure to send them to the UK and their failure to repay the money. A case has been filed under Sections 406, 420, and 120B of the IPC against Prabhjot Singh and Baljit Singh, who reside in the hamlet of Niamumajra, based on the victim’s statement.
