A Bassi Pathana City store owner for allegedly pilfering government tiles. Police sources claim that an informant tipped the Bassi Pathana City Police about the presence of government tile stacks beside the road under construction on Sant Namdev Mandir Road in Bassi Pathana. According to the informant, Hans Raj took government tiles from the piles in front of his hardware and paint business and concealed them in his scheme. Hans Raj was the subject of a Section 303(2) BNS case filed at the Bassi Pathana police station. A police team led by Station House Officer Amarjeet Singh allegedly retrieved the stolen tiles during their raid on the aforementioned plot. Hans Raj is currently the subject of an extensive search by the city police.
