US Spy Chief Tulsi Gabbard’s Visit Reinforces Strong India-US Ties

US Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard’s recent visit to New Delhi underscored the strong relationship between India and the United States, further enhanced by the personal rapport between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump.

In a statement from the DNI’s office, it was noted, “This visit highlights the decades-long strong US-India relationship that is bolstered by the leadership of and friendship between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump.”

During her time in India, Gabbard engaged in high-level discussions with key officials, including Prime Minister Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. She also participated in the Raisina Dialogue, delivering keynote remarks focused on the collective efforts to achieve a “peaceful, free, secure, and prosperous society,” aligned with President Trump’s goals.

Gabbard’s meetings primarily concentrated on areas such as intelligence-sharing, defense collaboration, counterterrorism, and addressing transnational threats. This visit is seen as a significant step in reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two nations amidst evolving global challenges.
